Anwojue Hope Foundation Promotes Positive Parenting in Ogun

The Anwojue Hope Foundation (AHF) organized a sensitization and outreach program for parents and caregivers in Itele Community, Ijebu East Local Government Area, Ogun State, under the theme “Nurturing the Future Together.” This event, which coincided with the birthday of AHF's founder, Omoba Adeolu Omokayode Anwojue, attracted over 100 pregnant women and nursing mothers. AHF's Project Manager, Mrs Busayo Soyebo-Eniade, stated that the outreach aimed to tackle the root causes of child abuse and malnutrition by educating parents on positive parenting and child nutrition.

The program included sessions on breastfeeding, nutrition, and responsible upbringing, led by Dr Yaya Babatunde, who emphasized the importance of antenatal care and exclusive breastfeeding. The AHF Coordinator in Ijebu, Mr Ebibo Kebi Austine, reiterated the Foundation's commitment to improving maternal and child wellbeing in underserved communities and called for partnerships to expand their initiatives.
