China Commends Nigeria for Successful Rescue of Kidnapped Chinese Nationals in Kwara State

China commends Nigeria for the successful rescue of four kidnapped Chinese nationals in Kwara State. The joint operation involving the Office of the National Security Adviser (ONSA), Department of State Services (DSS), and the Nigerian Army led to the safe recovery of the individuals.

Chinese Ambassador to Nigeria, Mr. Yu Dunhai, expressed gratitude during the formal handover ceremony in Abuja.

The rescued miners were identified as Dansu Zhou, Zhou Hai, Zhou Jia Jun, and Fan Xiu Guo. The DSS received praise for its swift intelligence-led operation and exceptional medical care provided in Abuja.

The incident involved an abduction by armed bandits at a mining site in Kogi State.
