Chinese Expatriate Rescued and Flees Nigeria After Kidnapping Incident

A Chinese expatriate, Mr. Wang, who was abducted in Edo state during an attack targeting a team of NSCDC operatives protecting Chinese workers at the BUA Cement plant in Okpella, has been rescued and has left Nigeria for China. Troops also successfully rescued 10 abducted women in Kaduna State during a special operation in the Sanga local government area.

The army intercepted kidnappers attempting to collect ransom and recovered items believed to be part of the ransom.
