Foreigners Held Hostage Near Abuja Rescued by Security Forces

A group of foreigners were lured into Nigeria under false pretenses of job offers and held hostage near Abuja. The victims were confined in inhumane conditions by a criminal syndicate led by Abubakar Jigiba and his brother Sougul Zouber.

The victims were rescued by the Scorpion Squad, with one sustaining minor injuries. Several suspects have been arrested, but the main culprits, Abubakar Jigiba and Sougul Zouber, are still at large.

Investigations are ongoing to apprehend them.
