CIO Golf Classic to Increase Prize Purse to N100m by 2026, Eyes Global Expansion

The CIO Golf Classic, led by Chairman Ikenna Okafor, is set to boost its prize purse to N100 million by 2026, following the success of the 6th edition held at Python Golf Club in Port Harcourt. The tournament featured the presence of River State Governor Siminalayi Fubara and aims to maintain global appeal by integrating safari tours in Kenya.

Okafor envisions growing the prize purse to $1 million within the next ten years, positioning the CIO Golf Classic as a major event on the African and international golf calendar.
