City Boy Movement Launches Membership Drive in Ekiti

The City Boy Movement (CBM) has initiated a statewide membership drive in Ekiti State, targeting 200,000 members across the state's 177 wards. The campaign, which commenced at the movement's state secretariat in Ado-Ekiti, is set to run until 31 October.
State Director Oluwafemi Kasali welcomed local government and ward coordinators, urging them to engage directly with communities rather than relying solely on social media. He expressed gratitude to Ekiti State Governor Biodun Oyebanji for fostering an environment conducive to youth development.
Dr Habibat Yusuf, the State Coordinator, reiterated the importance of effective communication and coordination among coordinators to meet the target of registering at least 1,000 members per ward. Alofe Ayodele Moses, Director of Media and Communications, highlighted the necessity of building a strong grassroots structure for the movement's success.
