CIVITAS Launches to Empower Nigeria's Youth Leaders

The CIVITAS civic movement was officially launched in Delta State to inspire and develop Nigeria's next generation of civic leaders. The event, held in Agbor, attracted hundreds of students from 19 public and private secondary schools, alongside teachers, school administrators, and community leaders.

The theme centered on igniting a new generation of civic leadership in Nigeria, addressing the urgent need to equip young Nigerians with the mindset and values necessary for responsible citizenship. Dr.

Eber Morgan, a global leadership strategist and founder of CIVITAS, emphasized the importance of developing leadership values among youth, noting that Nigeria's future depends on early cultivation of these traits. The movement is built around three core pillars: agency, stewardship, and responsibility, aiming to transform students from passive learners to active contributors in society.
