Club Owner Donates Motorcycles to Players Ahead of The 2025/26 Football Season

Barau FC, a football club in Nigeria, received a generous donation of 35 motorcycles from the club owner ahead of the 2025/26 football season. The team had recently gained promotion to the Nigeria Premier Football League after playing in the Nigeria National League last season.

The club owner also contributed a sum of money to the players for their achievement. The donation was met with mixed reactions on social media.

Barau FC also appointed Ladan Bosso, a former Nigeria U20 Flying Eagles coach, as their new Technical Adviser for the upcoming season. The club management expressed confidence in Bosso's ability to maintain their status in the elite league.

In preparation for the new season, Barau FC signed 25 new players to strengthen their squad. This move comes after Nigerian international Ahmed Musa denied reports of gifting motorcycles to Kano Pillars squad members.
