Barau Jibrin Rewards Barau FC Players With Motorcycles, ₦17.5 Million After NPFL Promotion

Senator Barau Jibrin recently rewarded Barau FC players with motorcycles and ₦17.5 million following their promotion to the Nigerian Professional Football League (NPFL). The reception, held in Kano, celebrated the club's achievement of securing a spot in the NPFL for the first time after a decisive victory over Doma United in the final playoff clash.

Jibrin, who founded the club, presented 35 players with motorcycles and cash as a gesture of motivation. The senator highlighted the economic opportunities that football offers and emphasized the importance of supporting local clubs.

The event also saw the official unveiling of the club's new head coach, Ladan Bosso, and the reinforcement of the squad with 25 new signings, including players from outside Nigeria. Barau FC is now gearing up for the new season, starting with a friendly match against Warriors before their first NPFL challenge against Enyimba at the Sani Abacha Stadium in Kano.
