Kwara State Targets 60% Female Techies in One Year to Empower Youth in Digital Literacy Program

Kwara State is targeting a 60% increase in female techies within a year as part of its efforts to deepen digital literacy and empower young girls. Governor Abdulrahman Abdulrazaq unveiled this goal during the Kwara Future exhibit, emphasizing the importance of preparing the youth for the digital revolution.

The program, led by Hon. Kayode Ishola Abdulrazaq, plans to expand to 100 schools and 10,000 students by mid-2026, positioning Kwara as a global hub for innovation and digital technology.

Schools showcased innovative projects like a smart attendance system and a weather forecast application, with prizes awarded to top performers.
