Bauchi Governor Hails UNICEF Collaboration for Child Welfare Transformation

Governor Bala Mohammed of Bauchi State expressed delight at the positive collaboration between the Bauchi State government and UNICEF in transforming child and maternal welfare. The partnership has significantly impacted immunization, nutrition, water, sanitation, and hygiene sectors in the state.

During UNICEF's visit, the governor highlighted the improvements in education, reproductive health services, and healthcare infrastructure, including the construction of an Oxygen Production Plant and renovation of health centers. The state government places a high priority on the health sector, evident through various community health initiatives and capacity building efforts for health workers.
