Ali Baba Loses Access to Victoria Island Mansion Amid Legal Dispute

Renowned Nigerian comedian Ali Baba reportedly lost access to his Victoria Island mansion following a legal dispute with XQZMOI TV. The property on 324A Akin Ogunlewe Street was removed by bailiffs enforcing a Federal High Court writ of possession dated August 15, 2025.

The mansion, purchased in 2021, became part of a debt recovery case involving Asset Management Corporation of Nigeria (AMCON) claiming funds owed by Harold Expansion Industries Nigeria Limited. Ali Baba's management has not issued an official statement regarding the eviction, while the legal representatives of Harold Expansion disputed the debt settlement claim.
