ComeOnNaija Unveils Cast for “ÌWÉ ÀLÀ” Film Project

ComeOnNaija has officially announced the first cast lineup for its new feature film titled “ÌWÉ ÀLÀ: An Ojúdè Ọba Story,” which is scheduled to commence production on November 30, 2025. The film will be headlined by celebrated actors Merci Aigb and Owobo Ogund, with direction by the acclaimed Adeoluwa Owu, known for his rich visual storytelling and strong emotional narratives that celebrate the vibrant culture and grandeur of the Ojúdè Ọba festival.

The project is described as a fast-paced family comedy-drama, with Olawumi Fajemirokun serving as the executive producer. Adeoluwa Owu has a track record of critically acclaimed and commercially successful films, including "Tribe Call Judah" and "Queen Lateefah." The cinematography will be handled by Emmanuel Igbekel, recognized for his impactful visual style in contemporary Nollywood.
