Concert for Change Allocates N55m to Child Charities

Concert for Change has distributed N55 million to five child-focused charities across Nigeria, following the Green Worship 8 benefit concert. This amount represents a 49.66% increase from the N36.75 million distributed last year, translating to an additional N18.25 million.

The organization aims to enhance donor confidence and expand its fundraising reach. The beneficiaries include Comrad David Ofoeyeno School for Special Children in Warri, Marvel Foundation Orphan Care Centre in Minna, Super Parent Foundation in Lagos, Hope Orphanage, and Akur Learning Disability Society Nigeria in Uyo, each receiving N11 million.

The funds will be allocated towards infrastructure upgrades, procurement of specialized equipment, therapy services, and educational materials, focusing on improving care and learning outcomes for vulnerable children. Wale Adenuga, a trustee of Concert for Change, emphasized the importance of transparency and measurable impact in their initiatives, which have raised N200 million since inception, positively impacting thousands of vulnerable children across Nigeria.
