Uba Sani and Tinubu Restore Tudun Biri After Tragic Drone Strike

In December 2023, Tudun Biri, an agrarian community in Kaduna State, faced a devastating drone strike tragedy that resulted in loss of lives and injuries. Governor Uba Sani of Kaduna State, under the leadership of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, spearheaded the restoration efforts. Immediate actions included medical care, psychosocial support, and material aid for the affected families. The Federal Government, through Vice President Kashim Shettima, implemented a comprehensive resettlement scheme called RSPIC to ensure long-term recovery and sustainable livelihoods for the community.

The resettlement project, initiated on January 30, 2026, involved constructing 133 housing units and educational facilities to support the affected families. The focus was on integrating social amenities, livelihood support systems, healthcare services, education infrastructure, renewable energy solutions, and agriculture support structures to facilitate the community's full reintegration and economic recovery. The project aimed to provide hope and stability for families affected by the conflict, emphasizing the government's commitment to its citizens during challenging times.
