Cornerstone Insurance Donates Solar Boreholes to NDLEA

Cornerstone Insurance PLC, under the leadership of Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer Stephen Alangbo, has emphasized its commitment to education and health initiatives as core pillars of its community development agenda. The company recently donated solar-powered boreholes to the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) in Abuja, reinforcing its dedication to providing access to clean and sustainable water.

During a handover ceremony, Alangbo represented the company alongside Head of Market and Corporate Communications Cordelia Ekeocha. The initiative aligns with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals, particularly in promoting clean water and sanitation.

The NDLEA Chairman, Brigadier General Mohammed Marwa (retd), and Director of Technical Services Ambrose Umoru, commended the foundation's donation, noting that the boreholes will ensure reliable access to clean water for law enforcement operations at detention facilities. Cornerstone Insurance PLC, a significant player in Nigeria's insurance sector since its establishment in 1991, manages group assets worth N121 billion and has a market capitalization of N65 billion as of late 2024.
