Coronation Merchant Bank Appoints Paul Abiagam as New MD/CEO

Coronation Merchant Bank has named Paul Abiagam as its new Managing Director/CEO, starting December 1, 2025, after receiving approval from the Central Bank of Nigeria. Abiagam brings 27 years of experience in commercial and corporate banking, wealth management, and investment banking.

He has held senior leadership roles at Diamond Bank and Guaranty Trust Bank. The appointment reflects confidence in his ability to lead the bank's growth trajectory.

Babatunde Folawiyo, the Chairman of the Board, expressed optimism about the bank's future under Abiagam's leadership.
