COSEYL President Announces Grandmother's Burial Plans

Comrade Goodluck Egwu Ibem, the president of the Coalition of South East Youth Leaders (COSEYL), has announced the burial arrangements for his grandmother, the late Nma Eger Egwu Ibem. In a statement issued on behalf of the family over the weekend, Comrade Ibem described his grandmother as a strong matriarch whose values and impact were significant to both the family and the community.

The burial program indicates that a Christian wake will be held on Thursday, April 9, 2026, at the family compound in Ebem, Ohafia Local Government Area, Abia State, starting at 7:00 PM. The main funeral service is scheduled for Friday, April 10, 2026, beginning at 10:00 AM at the customary court located on Prof. Eni Njoku Road, Ebem, Ohafia Local Government Area, followed by interment.

The family has extended an invitation to friends, associates, and the public to join in celebrating the life and legacy of the deceased. Comrade Ibem has appealed for prayers and support for the family during this mourning period.
