Sokoto Council Chairman Denies Negligence in Bandit Attack Response

The Chairman of Sokoto State Local Government Council, Sharehu Abubakar Kamarawa, refuted claims of inaction following a bandit attack in Bargaja village. He stated that immediate security measures were taken upon receiving intelligence but bandits diverted routes.

Kamarawa assured continued support for security operations and emphasized collaboration with local vigilante groups. He also commended Governor Aminu Tambuwal's efforts in combating insecurity, including the distribution of patrol vehicles.

Residents were urged to provide credible intelligence to enhance security efforts.
