Nigerian Court Grants Nnamdi Kanu Final Chance to Enter Defense in Terrorism Trial

The Federal High Court in Abuja has given Nnamdi Kanu, the detained leader of the proscribed Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), a final opportunity to enter his defense in the ongoing terrorism trial. Justice James Omotosho emphasized the importance of Kanu presenting his case and warned that failure to do so would result in forfeiting his right to justice.

The court has adjourned the matter until today to allow Kanu to put forward his defense. Kanu's former lawyer and current representatives have maintained his innocence and argued against the validity of the charges.

The trial is set to continue on November 7, where Kanu is expected to either present his defense or risk the case being closed for judgment.
