Ondo Women Affairs Commissioner Arrested for Alleged Assault

The Chief Magistrate's Court in Akure, Ondo State, issued an order for the arrest and remand of the Ondo State Commissioner for Women Affairs, following allegations of assault against her. The incident was said to have occurred within the premises of the Ondo State Ministry of Women Affairs.

The court was informed that the commissioner, Osamay, was receiving medical treatment at a hospital in Ilara-Mokin. The court rejected the medical report presented by her counsel, ruling it lacked essential details.

The case has been adjourned to January 12 for further hearing.
