Ondo Commissioner Faces Arrest for Assaulting Magistrate in Court

The Ondo State Commissioner for Women Affairs, Seun Osamay, has been ordered for arrest by the Akure Magistrate Court for allegedly assaulting Chief Magistrate Temitope Alphonso. The incident reportedly occurred at the premises of the Ondo State Ministry of Women Affairs.

Osamay is charged with assault, with the prosecution alleging verbal abuse and physical assault during the engagement. The court rejected a medical report presented by Osamay's defense counsel, ruling it unsatisfactory.

The case has been adjourned until January 12 for further hearing.
