Court Orders Eviction of Comedian Ali Baba from Victoria Island Property Amid Legal Battle

Comedian Ali Baba was evicted from a prime property in Victoria Island following a Federal High Court ruling that nullified the property's sale. The court ordered the property's ownership to revert to the family of the deceased original owner, as Asset Management Corporation of Nigeria (AMCON) failed to provide essential evidence in the case.

AMCON had claimed that the property was sold to Ali Baba in 2021 for N220 million despite ongoing court proceedings. The court found AMCON's case fundamentally defective and awarded the property back to the original family.

This ruling highlights the legal battle between AMCON and Harold Expansion Industries over a loan dating back to 2008.
