Nigerian Court Orders Forfeiture of 57 Malami-Linked Properties to Government

The Federal High Court in Abuja has granted an interim forfeiture order for 57 properties linked to former Attorney General Malami to the Nigerian government. The properties, worth billions of naira, are believed to be proceeds of unlawful activities in Abuja, Kebbi, Kano, and Kaduna.

Justice Emeka Nwite issued the order following an application by the EFCC. Interested parties have 14 days to show cause why a final forfeiture should not be made.

The properties include luxury duplexes, hotels, and buildings.
