Federal High Court Sacks Abure as Labour Party Chairman, Recognizes Nenadi Usman's Committee

The Federal High Court in Abuja has ruled to remove Abure as the Chairman of the Labour Party and recognize Nenadi Usman's committee. The court order, which was delivered by Justice Lifu, affirmed the validity of Usman's leadership.

Inibeh Effiong, a human rights lawyer, was present during the judgment. The court directed INEC to immediately recognize Usman as the leader of the Labour Party.

This decision comes after a legal dispute over the leadership of the party.
