Court Halts UBA from Releasing Osun LG Funds to APC Chairmen

The Oyo State High Court has issued an interim injunction preventing the United Bank Africa (UBA) from disbursing local government funds linked to APC chairmen in Osun State. The court's decision came after the Osun State Government sought to halt the release of funds associated with elected APC officials.

The case, filed by the state Attorney General and the Local Government Service Commission, aims to prevent the allocation of funds for six months. The court directed UBA to withhold the disputed funds until the case is fully heard, allowing both parties to present their arguments before a final decision is made.
