Court Warns Doris Ogala of Arrest Over Absence

The Federal High Court in Lagos has issued a warning to Nollywood actress Doris Ogala regarding her absence from court in a legal case involving Pastor Chris Okafor. This marks her second consecutive failure to appear, prompting the court to threaten her with arrest if she does not attend the next scheduled hearing.

The case centers on allegations of cybercrime against Ogala, specifically charges of cyberstalking, cyberbullying, and spreading false information with the intent to extort, linked to her online interactions concerning the founder of Grace Nation International Church. Justice Akintayo Aluko presided over the case, where Ogala's counsel, N.C.

Atulomah, informed the court that she was receiving medical treatment at a federal medical center. However, the prosecution, led by Tolulop Mokolu, questioned the validity of her health claims, noting that she had recently participated in political party primary elections.

The court has granted an adjournment but has made it clear that Ogala must appear at the next hearing, or a bench warrant will be issued.
