CPPE Urges Nigerian Govt to Enhance Social Protection Amid Economic Reforms

The Centre for Promotion of Private Enterprise (CPPE) urges the Nigerian government to enhance social protection measures to safeguard vulnerable citizens amidst ongoing economic reforms. CPPE's CEO, Muda Yusuf, emphasized the need for supportive policies alongside economic reforms to benefit ordinary Nigerians.

Yusuf highlighted the country's economic history and stressed the importance of addressing macroeconomic instability to foster growth. CPPE recommended focusing on restoring currency stability, enhancing monetary policies, increasing foreign exchange supply, boosting exports, and improving public spending efficiency to overcome challenges.

The call comes as Nigeria aims to stabilize its economy and ensure sustainable growth for all citizens.
