CPPE Urges FG Focus on Agriculture and Manufacturing for Prosperity

The Centre for Promotion of Private Enterprise (CPPE) has urged the Federal Government to focus on agriculture, manufacturing, and trade to drive economic growth and prosperity. CPPE's CEO, Muda Yusuf, highlighted the need to unlock productivity in these sectors to translate economic growth into job creation and poverty reduction.

Yusuf emphasized the importance of reforms, improved governance, and private sector collaboration to sustain Nigeria's economic momentum and ensure inclusive growth. The call comes after Nigeria's GDP showed a notable expansion in the second quarter of 2025, indicating a positive economic trajectory.
