Edo State Governor Launches 300 Motorbikes to Tackle Insecurity

Governor Okpebholo of Edo State commissioned the distribution of 300 motorbikes across the state to combat insecurity, fulfilling a campaign promise. The initiative aims to drive criminals out of Edo, enhancing security with new technology and mobility for agents.

Top security officials, including the Commissioner of Police and the Nigerian Army Commander, attended the event. The Governor also inaugurated equipment for the Edo State Waste Management Board to improve sanitation.

Residents were urged to support security agencies with credible information for crime prevention. The initiative marks a new dawn in Edo's security operations, particularly in combating kidnapping and crimes in forested areas.
