APC Launches Campaign Committee for Tinubu and Otu

The All Progressives Congress (APC) in Cross River State inaugurated a 30-man campaign committee on Tuesday in Calabar to support the re-election of President Bola Tinubu and Governor Bassey Otu. Chief Felix Idem, the Director General of the group and Commissioner for Local Government Affairs, stated that the committee's purpose is to expand the party's grassroots base and recruit new members across polling units, wards, and workplaces as the 2027 general elections approach.

He emphasized the importance of winning at the polling unit level and urged members to engage in door-to-door campaigns for both Tinubu and Otu. Chris Etta, the Cross River APC state Chairman, praised President Tinubu for addressing the state's oil well dispute and financial issues, noting that he is the first president to actively listen to their concerns.

Etta encouraged the committee members to campaign vigorously throughout the state to secure votes for the party and its candidates.
