Cross River Group Backs Otu, Tinubu for 2027 Votes

Ahead of the 2027 general election, the Cross River State Political Network has committed to delivering bloc votes for Governor Bassey Otu, President Bola Tinubu, and the All Progressives Congress. This pledge was made during an endorsement rally for APC candidates in the Northern Senatorial District, held on Friday in Ogoja Local Government Area.

Dr. Michael Abuo, the Director-General of CRISPON, urged members to mobilize voters and ensure maximum participation at polling units. He commended Governor Otu for ongoing road projects, particularly the Calabar-Ogoja road, and called for quicker interventions in Ukelle and Boki.

Abuo also outlined demands for the 2027 support, including addressing electricity issues in Bekwarra and establishing a College of Medical Sciences in Yala. He announced that 115 names had been submitted for a state intervention program, with support expected by the end of September.

Governor Otu's deputy, Peter Odey, represented him at the event, advocating for support for Tinubu's second-term bid.
