APC Cross River Backs Otu, Tinubu for 2027 Elections

The All Progressives Congress (APC) in Cross River State has officially pledged its support for the re-election of Governor Bassey Otu and President Bola Tinubu in the upcoming 2027 general elections. This commitment was made during a congress held on a Saturday in Calabar, where Samuel Yarnap, the state chairman, described the event as peaceful and orderly, showcasing internal democracy.

Yarnap commended party members for their unity and harmony, stressing the importance of maintaining this spirit as they prepare for the elections. He warned against actions that could threaten party cohesion and urged members not to allow opposition forces to destabilize the APC structure in the state.

Additionally, Koko Henshaw, a special leader within the party, praised the successful conduct of the congress, attributing it to shared purpose and teamwork, which he believes will lead to a landslide victory in 2027.
