APC Youth Group Urges Otu to Resolve Party Crisis

The Akamkpa Bias Youth Movement has called on Governor Bassey Otu to intervene in the internal crises affecting the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Cross River State. During a meeting held in Calabar, the youth leader, Daniel Enang, warned that ongoing divisions within the party could weaken its chances in future elections.

The group endorsed Emil Inyang, the current representative for the Akamkpa Bias constituency, for a second term, highlighting his contributions to development projects, including education, agriculture, and infrastructure. Enang noted that the youth played a significant role in the APC's victories during the 2023 elections and expressed concerns about the impact of internal strife on party unity.

The youth group urged APC stakeholders to resolve disagreements to ensure a cohesive approach leading into the next electoral cycle.
