Crown Ceramics Nigeria Limited internal crisis: Allegations against IGP false, baseless, says MD, Chen Dongfeng

The internal crisis at Crown Ceramics Nigeria Limited in Igbesa, Ogun State, escalated as allegations were made against Inspector General of Police (IGP) Kayode Egbetokun. Managing Director Chen Dongfeng refuted the claims, calling them false and baseless.

He accused Zhang Kefeng and others of attempting to mislead the public and disrupt the company's operations. The conflict stemmed from violations of shareholder agreements, with Zhang Kefeng and his sister establishing a rival ceramic tile company in Sagamu, Ogun State.

Chen Dongfeng accused Zhang Kefeng of fraudulently diverting materials and business ideas from Crown Ceramics Nigeria Limited to the new company. The situation worsened when armed individuals, allegedly linked to Zhang Kefeng, attempted to take over the company, leading to police intervention.

Chen Dongfeng emphasized the need to address the crisis and restore order within the company.
