Crystal Palace Manager Oliv Glasner Receives Driving Ban

Oliv Glasner, the manager of Crystal Palace, has been banned from driving for six months after being caught exceeding the 20 mph speed limit in Bermondsey, South London. The incident occurred in July when he was recorded driving at 29 mph on Old Kent Road.

Glasner, who is 51 years old, pleaded guilty at Willesden Magistrates' Court and submitted a handwritten note promising not to break the law again. He accepted full responsibility for his actions and acknowledged the seriousness of the matter.

The court imposed a fine of £660, along with £130 in costs and a £264 victim surcharge. Glasner's ban was decided without an open court hearing, and he had previously faced driving offenses.

This incident comes during his first full season managing Crystal Palace, a period marked by the club's FA Cup victory and subsequent struggles, including a dramatic exit in the third round against non-league Macclesfield in January.
