CSO Urges Tinubu's Intervention in FCT Crisis Amid Worker Strikes and Healthcare Challenges

The Civil Society Organization, People's Alliance for Indigenous Rights, through the Asoro Nation Coordinating Group, has called on President Bola Ahmed Tinubu to intervene in the crisis in the Federal Capital Territory (FCT). The FCT is facing various challenges, including worker strikes in ministries, primary school closures due to unresolved disputes with teachers, healthcare workers on strike, water supply issues leading to untreated water, and declining health facilities.

The situation has also resulted in a lack of proper preparation for external exams for secondary school students, unpaid teachers, and unpaid cleaners, contributing to a rise in crime rates. The CSO is concerned about the deteriorating state of affairs in the FCT and is seeking urgent intervention to address these pressing issues.
