Cubana Chief Priest Responds to Lawmaker's Probe Call

Pascal Okechukwu, known as Cubana Chief Priest, has retaliated against Chinedu Ogah, a member of the House of Representatives representing Ikwo/Ezza South Federal Constituency of Ebonyi State, following Ogah's call for the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) to investigate Cubana Chief Priest's financial activities. In a series of Instagram posts, Cubana Chief Priest threatened to sue Ogah, labeling him a "hit man" allegedly sent by Governor Francis Nwifuru to tarnish his reputation after he criticized the governor's administration.

He claimed to have significant connections with over ten state governors and asserted that he holds more value to President Bola Tinubu's political efforts than Ogah. Ogah had questioned Cubana Chief Priest's background and source of income, suggesting potential involvement in money laundering and urging the EFCC to scrutinize his finances.

This controversy arose from Cubana Chief Priest's criticism of Nwifuru's administration, particularly regarding the lack of major projects since Nwifuru took office.
