Daily Economy Launches Book on Nigeria's Insurance Industry

Daily Economy is set to mark its second anniversary with the launch of a book titled "Trend in Nigeria's Insurance Industry 2005-2025," authored by editor Nike Popoola. The event will take place on March 31, 2026, at 10 AM at the Lagos Orient Hotel.

The book chronicles two decades of transformation in Nigeria's insurance sector, highlighting significant reforms and contributions from notable industry leaders. Olusegun Ayo Omosehin, the Chief Executive Officer of the National Insurance Commission, will deliver the keynote address.

Feyisayo Soyewo, Chairman of Prestige Insurance Brokers Limited, will chair the occasion, while Cornel Karekezi, Group Managing Director and CEO of African Reinsurance Corporation, will serve as the special guest of honor. Expected attendees include Yetund Ilori, President of the Chartered Insurance Institute of Nigeria, Kunle Ahm, Chairman of the Nigerian Insurance Association, and Ekeoma Ezeib, President of the Nigerian Council of Registered Insurance Brokers.

The book aims to document the evolution of the insurance sector and promote financial literacy within the industry.
