Dangote Cement Q1 2026 Results: PAT Up 53.5% to ₦321.1B
Dangote Cement PLC filed its unaudited results for the three months ended 31st March 2026 on 29th April 2026. The filing discloses Group revenue of ₦1,198.0 billion, profit after tax of ₦321.1 billion, and a 13.8% year-on-year increase in Group volumes.
Dangote Cement PLC (DANGCEM) released its unaudited Q1 2026 results covering the three months ended 31st March 2026. The filing shows Group revenue rose 20.4% year-on-year to ₦1,198.0 billion, compared with ₦994.7 billion in Q1 2025.
Group EBITDA grew 22.8% to ₦567.1 billion, representing a margin of 47.3%. Nigeria EBITDA reached ₦525.3 billion, up 33.1%, with a 61.0% EBITDA margin.
Profit after tax increased 53.5% to ₦321.1 billion, while earnings per share rose 55.7% to ₦19.14. Group cement and clinker volumes grew 13.8% to 7.5 million tonnes, with Nigeria volumes up 11.5% to 4.9 million tonnes and Pan-Africa volumes up 19.5% to 2.9 million tonnes.
Nigeria cement and clinker exports increased 71.6% to 549.6 thousand tonnes, with 10 clinker ships dispatched to Ghana and Cameroon. The company commissioned a 3 million tonne per annum grinding plant in Côte d'Ivoire, bringing total Group capacity to 55 million tonnes per annum.
Pan-Africa EBITDA declined 22.5% to ₦59.3 billion, with the Pan-Africa EBITDA margin contracting 7.7 percentage points to 16.0%. Profit before tax was ₦421.2 billion, up 35.0%.
