Dangote Group Boosts MSME Support at Enugu Trade Fair

At the 37th International Trade Fair organized by the Enugu Chamber of Commerce, Industry, Mines and Agriculture (ECCIMA), Olatunbosun Jinadu, representing Dangote Group, reiterated the company's commitment to enhancing Nigeria's industrial capacity and supporting micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs). He noted that MSMEs are crucial for economic growth, especially in light of challenges such as high energy costs, expensive raw materials, and poor infrastructure.

The fair's theme, "Empower MSMEs for Global Competitiveness," served as a call to strengthen these enterprises, which are seen as the backbone of both local and global economies. Jinadu also discussed Dangote Group's Vision 2030 strategy, aimed at addressing challenges in key sectors, including increasing the capacity of Dangote Refinery from 650,000 to 1.4 million barrels per day and boosting fertilizer production to twelve million metric tons annually.

He encouraged stakeholders to explore partnership opportunities, emphasizing the group's role as a key private sector driver in translating ideas into tangible economic results. Nnanyelugo Onyemelukw, ECCIMA President, praised Dangote Group's commitment to domestic economic growth.
