Enugu Trade Fair 2026 to Boost SMEs for Global Market

The 37th Enugu Trade Fair, organized by the Enugu Chamber of Commerce, Industry, Mines and Agriculture (ECCIMA), is set to take place from March 21 to March 30, 2026. Nnayelugo Onyemelukw, the president of ECCIMA, disclosed that the theme for this year's fair will emphasize empowering small and medium enterprises (SMEs) for global competitiveness.

The fair aims to provide support for developing globally competitive brands and has already received several inquiries from corporate organizations and institutions interested in participating. Onyemelukw expressed optimism about the success of the fair despite existing economic challenges and highlighted the importance of government policies that prioritize business growth and industrial development.

The event will particularly focus on opportunities in agriculture, especially in commercial farming, as part of efforts to boost job creation, food security, and the development of agro-processing and agro-allied industries.
