Dangote Cuts Petrol Price to ₦841/Litre, Launches Free Fuel Distribution Program

Dangote Group announced a reduction in petrol prices to ₦841 per liter and initiated a free fuel distribution program. The reduction was confirmed by the group's spokesman, Anthony Chiejina, who highlighted the price adjustments in Lagos, Abuja, and several other states.

The company also disclosed plans to distribute free fuel as part of a program aimed at strengthening domestic fuel distribution. The initiative, which includes the use of Compressed Natural Gas trucks to cut logistics costs, was delayed due to logistical challenges but is now operational with trucks arriving in Nigeria for distribution.
