Dangote Refinery Lowers Petrol and Diesel Prices Again

Dangote Refinery announced a reduction in the ex-depot prices of petroleum products in Nigeria. The new price for petrol is set at N1,250 per liter, down from N1,275, while diesel has been cut to N1,700 per liter from N1,800.

This price adjustment is part of the refinery's ongoing efforts to enhance supply efficiency and provide cost relief to consumers and businesses that heavily rely on petroleum products for transport and power generation. The statement from the refinery emphasized its commitment to making refined petroleum products more affordable to support economic activities across Nigeria.

The price of fuel had previously doubled in February due to geopolitical tensions, including the conflict involving Israel and Iran, which had significant implications for global fuel prices and affected Nigeria adversely.
