Dangote Refinery Lowers Petrol and Diesel Prices in Nigeria

Dangote Petroleum Refinery has implemented a new price adjustment for petroleum products, reducing the ex-depot price of premium motor spirit (petrol) to N1,250 per liter and diesel to N1,700 per liter. This decision reinforces the refinery's commitment to making refined petroleum products more affordable and supporting economic activities across Nigeria.

The price review comes as the refinery continues its efforts to improve supply efficiency and deepen domestic refining capabilities, thereby reducing the country's dependence on imported fuel. The refinery operates at a capacity of 650,000 barrels per day, which is expected to increase the supply of refined products in the domestic market and provide cost relief to businesses that heavily rely on petroleum products for transport and power generation.
