Dangote Refinery Denies Link Between Petrol Price Cut and Import Tariff Suspension

The refinery emphasized that the price cut was solely based on market dynamics and its commitment to ensuring Nigerians benefit from domestic refining.

The company highlighted that the tariff suspension, approved in October, did not play a role in the price decision. Dangote Refinery aims to maintain uniform prices nationwide amid rising logistics costs and supply pressures.
