Dangote Refinery Raises Petrol Price to N835 Amid Market Disruptions

Dangote Refinery has raised the petrol price to N835 per litre, marking an increase of N17 per litre from the previous rate of N820. This hike comes shortly after the refinery had cut rates.

Data from PetroleumPriceNG shows that the current rate at Dangote Refinery is one of the highest among depot owners. The refinery suspended direct lifting of petroleum products, causing price surges at depots.

Marketers were instructed to suspend payments related to active Product Fulfilment Instructions (PFIs) until September 18, with a resumption of direct lifting scheduled for September 23.
