Dangote Refinery has refuted allegations of a shutdown, confirming that fuel supply is steady. The company denied claims of idle production lines and suspended truck loading operations, emphasizing that operations are running smoothly.

The refinery assured Nigerians that it is fully operational and producing 40 million liters of Premium Motor Spirit (PMS) per day, along with a steady supply of Automotive Gas Oil (diesel). The management dismissed rumors of a potential price increase and urged the public to disregard false information spread by disloyal individuals.

The refinery emphasized its dedication to Nigeria's energy independence and debunked claims of importing inferior fuel. Analysts, such as Samuel Oyekanmi from Norrenberger Financial Group, have highlighted the refinery's potential impact on the market.

Additionally, reports of a price increase to N850 per liter for PMS were addressed, with the refinery clarifying its pricing strategy.
