Dangote Refinery has resumed the sale of petrol in Naira after initially announcing a suspension due to allocation exhaustion. The refinery had earlier planned to halt petrol sales in Naira starting September 28, 2025.

However, a memo issued on Saturday revealed that the sales have resumed in Naira following the intervention of a technical committee. This decision marks a significant shift in the refinery's operations and pricing strategy, impacting the local fuel market and consumers in Nigeria.
