Dangote Refinery Boosts Petrol Supply Capacity and Adjusts Prices in Nigeria

Dangote Refinery has declared its ability to supply 75 million liters of petrol daily, surpassing Nigeria's estimated daily consumption of 50 million liters. Additionally, the refinery supplies 25 million liters of diesel and 20 million liters of aviation fuel daily, exceeding local demand.

This surplus aims to enhance market stability and reduce the reliance on emergency imports during peak demand or logistical disruptions. Dangote reaffirms its commitment to regulatory compliance with the Nigerian Midstream Downstream Petroleum Regulatory Authority (NMDPRA) to ensure orderly downstream operations.

Following this announcement, Dangote Refinery has increased the pump price of petrol at its filling stations to N839 per liter, triggering a nationwide price adjustment. The Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation (NNPC) has also adjusted its pump prices to align with the market.
